Tiffin-Seneca Farmers Market Returns for 2024 Season at New Location

Coordinating with JAM’s Market to create enhanced experience.

May 14, 2024 — Tiffin, OH — The Tiffin-Seneca Farmers Market announced its return for the 2024 season, beginning on Saturday, May 18, and taking place every Saturday through November 2. This year, the market will be on Madison Street, positioned in front of JAM's Market, between Jefferson Street and Schonhardt Street.

The move promises a larger and more accessible market experience by positioning the Farmers Market directly next door to JAM’s Market. JAM's will open every Saturday, aligning with the Farmers Market schedule and adding to market experience by offering a place for locally made crafts, decorations, and clothing. Additionally, JAM's Market will maintain its normal Third Thursday through Sunday operating schedule.

Sponsored by Sutton Bank, the 2024 Tiffin-Seneca Farmers Market features over 20 vendors offering fresh produce, meat, baked goods, and more, all produced in the local area. Children’s activities at the Market will once again be hosted by Restoration Alliance Church.

To mark the beginning of the season, the first week is Teacher Appreciation Week. Teachers who present their school ID badge at the Market Bank will receive a $5 token courtesy of JAM's Market to show the community’s thanks for their efforts as this school year ends. JAM’s will also be hosting their Spring Indoor-Outdoor Market on Saturday featuring an additional 40 vendors and food trucks.

"We're excited to bring back the Tiffin-Seneca Farmers Market for another season," said Aaron Gerlach, President of the Board of Seneca County Common Ground, the organization that runs the Farmers Market. "The new location in front of JAM's Market offers opportunities for a more engaging market experience. We appreciate the support of Sutton Bank and the community as we celebrate our local food economy."

"Tiffin is proud to host the Tiffin-Seneca Farmers Market," said Tiffin Mayor Lee Wilkinson. "I am looking forward to another exciting season of local food."

The Tiffin-Seneca Farmers Market will run every Saturday from May 18 to November 2, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. For more information, visit www.tiffinsenecafarmersmarket.com.
