Tiffin is home to many historical sites across the city.  If you’re looking for a little glimpse of history, check out some of the museums ranging from antique glass art and dolls to Seneca County and the Civil War! The history of Seneca County is an interesting and unique to the area.  The Seneca County Museum does a beautiful job of walking you through the years through knowledge, stories, and antiques that truly capture the attention of every individual who walks through their door.  The museum is uniquely nestled within the walls of Tiffin’s first millionaire’s home with 18 rooms, there’s so much to see and experience! Tiffin has always been well-known for their beautiful work with glass.  At the Tiffin Glass Museum, you can see over a thousand pieces of glass through the years and even a few other surprises that are certainly awe-inspiring.  Opening in 1998, the museum has been collecting beautiful works of glass art for nearly two decades and want to share it with everyone! With over ten thousand square feet of exhibit and eight main exhibit areas, the American Civil War Museum of Ohio has something for everyone.  Children and adults alike enjoy diving back into the past to experience and learn about Ohio’s role in the Civil War through both presentations and hands-on activities! The Enchanted Moment Doll Museum offers an extremely unique experience for it’s visitors.  Most people have a favorite doll or toy when they are younger or collect unique dolls as they grow older.  The Enchanted Moment Doll Museum is a one-stop shop to see over three thousand dolls and items from various cultures throughout history.  There’s even a doll hospital to patch up wear-and-tear from an abundance of love! The museums in the city of Tiffin are truly unique and have a lot to offer.  Everyone can enjoy a trip to any of the museums and walk away with a little more knowledge and several new memories to hold close to them!
