Tiffin has a rich history and commitment to the arts, celebrated by our museums and galleries. The American Civil War Museum of Ohio Image removed. The American Civil War Museum of Ohio is a non-profit organization the was formed to educate the community by collecting, preserving, and interpreting the American Civil War and the way it impacts the American people today. Artifacts, dioramas, mannequins, audio-visual tools, hands-on experiences, and informational displays provides a unique opportunity for every type of learner. A 20 minute video titled “Ohio’s Role in the Civil War” plays for free viewing in the museum theater. From the Civil War expert to a curious visitor, over 10,000 square feet of diverse programs, exhibits, and activities ensure there’s something for everyone. Plan your visit and experience the American Civil War in many new ways! Events are also hosted on site, and on October 7th the Ohio Researchers of Banded Spirits, or ORBS, will be holding Ghost Tours of the museum. Group Tours and/or after hours tours can be scheduled, depending on the availability of volunteers. The Enchanted Moment Doll Museum Image removed.Sisters Jean Berlekamp and Myrna Riedel have run the Enchanted Moment Doll Museum for 25 years, a culmination of their dream to provide an official home to more than 3000 dolls, preserving the history, science, art, and influence of the international doll population. The museum houses different types of dolls from over the years, including ones from the late 1700’s, 1800’s and early 1900’s. The museum also has a doll hospital, which works to repair damaged dolls. Repairs can range from new hairstyles to operations replacing limbs, each doll being treated as if it were the collectors’ own. Dresses, bedding, and accessories can be purchased in the gift shoppe, making the Enchanted Moment Doll Museum a place for doll collectors young and old. Tiffin Glass Museum Image removed.Opening in November of 1998, the Tiffin Glass Museum safeguards almost 100 years of Tiffin’s extensive glass history. Lamps, stemware, optics, and colors used throughout production years are on display, a culmination of the preservation efforts by members of the Tiffin Glass Collectors Club. The exhibits show the glassware produced in the Tiffin factory, beginning with the A. J. Beatty & Company in 1889 to its end in 1980 as the Tiffin Glass Company. Memorabilia is also on display in the beautiful oak cabinets, and the collection continues to grow through donations. Seneca County Museum Image removed.Take a trip back in time to 1853 at the Seneca County Museum. Housed in 18-room Greek Revival Historic home built by Rezin Shawhan, Tiffin’s first millionaire, the museum houses some of the original home furnishings as well as collections of Tiffin Glass, pottery, early firearms, primitive housewares, antique toys, Indian artifacts, fire-fighting memorabilia and more. Admission is free, but donations are encouraged to help fund operation expenses. Group-tours are available during non-scheduled operation hours by calling 419-447-5955. Tiffin Historic Trust/Grammes-Brown House Image removed.The Grammes-Brown House, an elegant nine-room 1884 Second Empire home, has been the headquarters of the Tiffin Historic Trust since 1988. The property was donated by the granddaughter of the home’s builder, Rosina Brown, on the condition the Trust maintained and preserved the properties historic and architectural significance. Thanks to the Trust, visitors can come and see the fine wood work, antiques, treasures and collections that fill the beautiful Victorian-Era house. Handmade oak woodwork, pocket doors, the newel post, and a German Grandfather Clock fill the house, and in the parlor original artifacts of the Grammes-Brown family such as Wedgewood China and mantel figurines are on display. Dolls have been restored and sit in  the Toy Room, and the garden is maintained to reflect the dignity of its past.   Tours are available by appointment, in addition to parties and photo sessions.     Tiffin Art Guild & Gallery Image removed.All artist are welcome to collaborate at the Tiffin Art Guild. Beginners, professionals, and everyone in between is able to share their talents, display their art, or participate in gallery showings. Class are held for all ages, and a one time membership free discounts special classes, like glass work or canvass painting. TAG members can exhibit their art in a world-class gallery environment, and meetings are held the third Monday of every month. Please enroll by stopping by the Tiffin Art Guild before class so materials are available. Diane Kidd Gallery Image removed.The Diane Art Gallery located at Tiffin University aims to educate, enrich lives, and enlarge the world of students, staff, and the larger community. It provides a venue in which talented professional, amuateur, and student artist display quality art exhibits and programs. The gallery is open to the public, and located in the Hayes Center for the Arts. Red Raven
