Downtown Tiffin Bicentennial Birthday Party

Come celebrate Tiffin’s bicentennial with the Third Thursday Bicentennial Birthday Party from 5-9 p.m. Thursday, June 16, in Downtown Tiffin. Events will be going on throughout the Downtown, sponsored by Reineke Family Dealerships and UIS Insurance & Investments.

Restaurants and retailers are offering specials throughout the evening and a car cruise is planned along Washington Street. Thursday Night Tunes at the East Green Amphitheater kicks off with a performance by Soul Piolet at 7 p.m. and this marks the first Court Street Market, a collaboration of artists, crafters, makers, and handmade goods on Court Street from 5-8:30 p.m. on Court Street.

Kids can play on an obstacle course, touch safety services vehicles at the City Lots, including a firetruck, ambulance and police cars, and can take part in a sidewalk chalk challenge at the Seneca County Justice Center, judged by Tiffin Mayor Aaron Montz.

Tiffin Pedal Company and the Renaissance of Tiffin on Wheels are donating their time and will be shuttling community members to various stops throughout downtown for free.

  • Jolly’s – Celebrate Jolly’s 75th birthday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 4 p.m. and 75 cents hotdogs and free mini root beer floats from 3-8pm! A DJ will be out front playing music from 6-9 p.m.
  • Laird Arcade Brewery (The LAB) – Therapy Thursday massages by Erica Snyder, LMT; T-kay’s crafted jewels and Studio 605 art displayed.
  • MST Pub & Grub – DORA drinks
  • Ralph’s Joy of Living – wine tasting (reservation required)
  • Reino’s Pizza and Pasta – Food and DORA specials
  • Renaissance of Tiffin – Happy Hour from 5-11 p.m. and live DJ out front 6-9 p.m.
  • Rose & Co – pick up your Bicentennial cupcakes
  • Tiffin-Seneca Public Library – Set up at East Green to sign up people for the children’s Summer Reading Program.
  • Viaduct Bar & Grille – half off appetizers and Happy Hour from 4-9 pm with the DORA
