TSEP is asking the public to go to dreambigtiffin.com to provide their feedback through Nov. 1, 2023.

During the 2022 cycle, there were 7 project proposals with detailed descriptions, budgets, and support documentation submitted, and since then, several projects identified as priorities by Dream Big Tiffin have been completed. The remaining seven priorities or recommended projects will remain on the list again this year: MLK Monument, Bunky Bike Tree, Community Gardens, Salvation Army Day Camps, Downtown Streetscaping, Pumptrax Skatepark, Downtown Parking Lot Improvements.

Two new projects proposals, one for streetscaping on Court Street and another for improvements to Applejack Park, were submitted for the 2024 cycle. Additionally, there are four new ideas that are being added to the 13 ranked by the public as “somewhat important” or higher, bringing the total community “wish list” to 17.

Tiffin Mayor Dawn Iannantuono said, “A robust community development program is absolutely essential to the continued growth and revitalization of Tiffin, and public input is key a component of ensuring that program aligns with our community’s needs and desires. Strong community engagement is critical to our success in seeking grants and state funding, and I look forward to seeing what Tiffin residents think should be our priorities.
