TIFFIN, OHIO – Monday, February 7, 2022 – Tiffin-Seneca Economic Partnership (TSEP) announced today that the owner of a successful alcoholic beverage manufacturer is looking for a new or established restaurant partner to collaborate with on a new space in Tiffin. Detailed information about this opportunity, codenamed “Project Watchface,” can be found on TSEP’s “Entrepreneurial Opportunity Clearinghouse” at tseoc.org. The opportunity will remain open from now until April 8, 2022.

The manufacturer, which wishes to remain anonymous at this time, produces a range of beverages with plans to expand their offerings further. The producer and restaurant will reside in the same new space but be operated by their individual owners with each having a stake in the joint venture. Currently, there are ten employees on payroll, and new employees of the joint venture will need to demonstrate a knowledge of beer to assist customers.

Tiffin Mayor Aaron Montz stated his support of the project. “The Clearinghouse has been successful in helping businesses like Kuebler Shoes and T.J. Willie’s transfer to the next generation of entrepreneurs. We’re also excited about its potential to facilitate partnerships, like this one. It looks to be a great opportunity for a local Tiffin business.”

Eligible parties may include established restaurant owners, but entrepreneurs with an interest in starting a restaurant are also encouraged to apply.

The Tiffin-Seneca Entrepreneurial Opportunity Clearinghouse (TSEOC), launched in April 2021, is designed to facilitate the flow of entrepreneurial talent and capital to new business start-up, franchise, and business acquisition opportunities. There may be investors that do not want to run the business but would be willing to invest if a competent entrepreneur and business manager could be found. Interested parties should contact Adam Gillmor, Development Coordinator at TSEP, at gillmor@tiffinseneca.org, or by phone at 614.725.8086.
