Virtual program showcases employment opportunities for people with disabilities

TIFFIN, Ohio – In celebration of National Disability Employment Awareness Month, the Seneca County Opportunity Center is hosting a virtual program, “Employment Options for People with Disabilities,” at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28, 2021, via Zoom. Opportunity Center staff will share how they collaborate with other organizations to help people with disabilities find and keep employment. Concordance Healthcare Solutions will discuss their inclusive hiring program, and local individuals with disabilities will talk about being employed in the community.

National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) is held each October to educate the public about disability employment issues and recognize the many and varied contributions of America’s workers with disabilities. The Seneca County Board of Developmental Disabilities is proud to support NDEAM and encourages everyone to work together to create a disability-friendly work culture.
