TIFFIN, OHIO – Nov. 18, 2019 – Since opening nearly 3 years ago, Ward Law Office has expanded to be the largest tenant in the Historic Laird Arcade in Downtown Tiffin. The firm, which specializes in patent and trademark law, has tripled in size since opening and now has more than 300 clients.

While the firm files patent and trademark applications for clients in Seneca and surrounding counties, much of their work is global. Ward Law Office also specializes in small businesses and independent inventors. The firm employs 11 people around the world, six of whom have offices in the Laird building in Tiffin.

Living and working in Seneca County, Ward Law Office is able to take advantage of the low cost of living. Technology allows its staff to operate in a global marketplace.

“We like being downtown; we love the sense of community here in the heart of Tiffin,” said founding partner Jake Ward, Registered Patent Attorney. “For us, it’s a good fit and it keeps our costs low, which we then pass on to our clients.”

Ward also teaches patent law and practice at the University of Toledo and gives presentations to area chambers of commerce, libraries, and business incubators throughout Michigan and Ohio. He was also recently recognized in Forbes as being an “inventor-friendly” patent attorney.

Ward Law office is located on the second floor of the Laird building, 120 1/2 S. Washington St., Suite 207, online at wardpatent.com or at Ward’s law blog, which is full of interesting and unique patents, anticipatethis.com.
