The new space gives Gem Yoga a window to Downtown Tiffin as well the ability to operate on one floor. The new space also allows for a reception area, multipurpose room and private rooms for therapists to work with clients.

Expanded services in the near future will include foot detox, full body detox and some retail services for high end yoga supplies. The company has six employees, one of which is a new addition as Gem Yoga increases its offerings.

Gem Yoga had been in the Laird Building since it started in 2014, expanding from one studio on the first floor to two more spaces on the second floor.

“The Laird has been our home for so long, but this new space will provide us with the opportunity to grow and expand our services,” owner Gemma Marschke said. “I’m excited for all the possibilities, things we’ve been wanting to do but never had the ability to in our old space.”

Tiffin Mayor Aaron Montz commented: “I’m happy to see one of our existing businesses make the decision to stay in the downtown and expand their offerings.”
